Magnetic or mechanical? Why not both! The CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.2 Pro TMR Wireless combines fast, precise, and energy-saving TMR magnetic technology with the option to replace the built-in switches with mechanical or other magnetic switches. The keyboard also features a flexible triple-mode connection and an ultra-fast 8K polling rate – in both wireless and wired modes. In addition, the CHERRY MagCrate software offers countless customization options, allowing you to tailor the magnetic/mechanical gaming keyboard to your preferences and needs.
Innovative TMR technology
The CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.2 Pro TMR Wireless works with TMR technology (TunnelMagnetoResistance). Each switch has an embedded magnet, while a TMR magnetic sensor is located on the circuit board underneath. When a key is pressed, the distance between the sensor and the magnet changes, which the TMR sensor detects and converts into a keystroke. Unlike Hall effect sensors, which work with magnetically induced voltage, TMR technology uses changes in magnetic resistance and can thus detect inputs with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. This means that this magnetic/mechanical gaming keyboard not only offers you greater precision, but also lower battery consumption and simply better in-game performance.
Hot-swappable CHERRY MK CRYSTAL switches
The magnetic CHERRY MK CRYSTAL switches trigger super-fast and offer a smooth, linear typing feel. On top of that, the keyboard's standard switches can be replaced with magnetic or mechanical switches. This allows you to benefit from magnetic precision when gaming, for example, and switch to mechanical, tactile feedback when working. The switches can be replaced at any time, offering full flexibility for most keys*.

CHERRY MagCrate software
CHERRY MagCrate gives you complete control and allows you to customize your magnetic/mechanical gaming keyboard exactly as you want it. Among other things, you can set the actuation points for each key individually, assign macros, and adjust the RGB lighting. You also have access to advanced features such as Rapid Trigger, Dynamic Key Travel (DKS), Mod Tap, and SnapKey to completely personalize your keystrokes. All your settings are then saved directly on the keyboard.
Ultra-fast triple-mode connection
With the MX 8.2 Pro TMR Wireless, you're not only flexible, but also ultra-fast: the magnetic/mechanical gaming keyboard can be connected wirelessly via 2.4 GHz wireless or Bluetooth®, as well as traditionally via USB cable. This gives you the option of connecting up to three devices at once. A slide switch allows you to conveniently switch between the different connection types. You also benefit from an impressive 8000 Hz polling rate – in both wired and 2.4 GHz mode. The keyboard sends signals to your PC eight times per millisecond, ensuring extremely fast response times with every keystroke.
8000 mAh battery for extended gaming sessions
The MX 8.2 Pro TMR Wireless is equipped with an extremely powerful 8000 mAh battery, which, in combination with energy-saving TMR technology and depending on the settings selected, provides up to 300 hours of gaming fun. And even while charging, the magnetic/mechanical gaming keyboard won't let you down: simply plug in the included USB-A to USB-C cable and continue playing without interruption.
